Editorial standards

Source before scale

Every editorial claim should be traceable to a reliable source. Official artist sources, recognized institutions, reputable publications and authoritative databases are preferred. A source record includes its URL, publisher, retrieval date and review status.

Human accountability

Machine assistance may organize research or create a draft, but an unchanged machine draft cannot be labelled as human work. Original biographies require a named author, an independent reviewer, supported claims and a substantive review note before publication.

Translations

Translations require a named translator and a different verified reviewer. Language metadata for a release or track title is never treated as proof of a song's lyric language. Regional variants and transliteration are stored separately.

Corrections and conflicts

Corrections preserve provenance and review events. Conflicting identifiers or sources are quarantined for review rather than silently overwritten. Readers can suggest corrections through contact or the contribution workflow.

Artificial intelligence

AI output is never a source of fact. It must not fabricate quotations, rights, credits or biographies, and it cannot publish itself. Public attribution describes the accountable human author and reviewer.
